It’s the luxury holiday home, in one of the most sought-after locations in the country, caught up in the nasty stoush between Michael Clarke and Karl Stefanovic.
The Daily Telegraph reported on Wednesday, ex-Aussie cricket captain Michael Clarke and TV host Karl Stefanovic squared off in a wild fracas in a public park at Noosa last week.
During the brouhaha, video of which was caught on a smartfone and obtained by The Telegraph, Clarke was slapped by his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough (the sister of Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine) and accused of cheating, which he denied.
The showdown between two of Australia’s highest profile male figures sent the internet and social media into meltdown.

Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough have been married for four years and share a daughter, while Clarke and Jade Yarbrough had been dating since July last year and were photographed at several social events in that time.
The couples were believed to be staying at Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough’s stunning Sunshine Coast home, with which they have a love/hate relationship, at the time of the fracas.
Property records reveal the Stefanovics bought the 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom Sunshine Beach home on Seaview Terrace for $3.6m in January 2020.
The street is something of a haven for the rich and famous with Gina Rinehart and Kevin Rudd also owning properties on the strip, just minutes stroll from the beach.
However the Stefanovics have had something of an unhappy relationship with the seaside home in the Noosa Shire and have twice tried to sell it with no success.
In trying to offload the home, Stefanovic said he had been doing so with a “heavy heart” but didn’t spend enough time there to justify keeping it.
According to Core Logic, the home last sat on the market for 131 days, without being sold.
According to reports, the Stefanovics spent around $1m doing up beachside mansion, adding a teenage retreat, bathroom and wine cellar, before it failed to meet its ambitious $7.5m reserve at auction in April last year.
The Stefanovics remain listed as the owners of the property.

Since the beginning of the Covid pandemic in Australia in March 2020, the Sunshine Coast has been one of the strongest housing markets in the country.
House prices on Sunshine Beach doubled between January 2020 and January 2022, skyrocketing from a median of $1.75m to $3.5m, according to realestate.com.au.
However prices have crashed 23 per cent in the last 12 months.
The Stefanovics live in Sydney, but Karl hails from Queensland, Jasmine’s family lives there, and the Today Show host has more recently said he regrets putting the home up for auction and is glad it didn’t sell, The Australian reported.
In the wake of the no-sell, Stefanovic planned to use the mansion as a weekend and holiday home, it was reported.
“Prepare to be amazed,” the marketing collateral for the home read, when it was listed for sale.
“This magnificent home has been expertly crafted to capitalise on the awe-inspiring 180-degree ocean views with a spacious three-storey layout that will have you in awe at every turn.
“The enviable northeast aspect draws in soft natural light while the collection of living areas, both inside and out, ensures a comfortable place to gather, no matter the mood or occasion.”
